GreenRoom is the only news outlet dedicated to covering the Green Party of England and Wales.
Supportive but independent of the Greens, this website offers high-quality reporting on key issues in and about the party — from grassroots to leaders.
Our coverage ranges from in-depth features to the weekly “Greens in the House” wrap-up of Green politicians’ comments in parliament.
Why?
The Green Party has arrived as a major force in British politics, with polling numbers soaring and a fifth MP in Hannah Spencer, elected in a stunning victory in the Gorton and Denton byelection.
But — unlike other parties — we didn’t have a news organisation dedicated to telling our story. Journalist Nick McAlpin created GreenRoom to solve that issue.
